How a dating site saved my love life

A good friend of mine recommended that I try Match.com , a very popular online dating site. I'll admit, I was skeptical. I thought on the internet dating would be less personal, and less successful. But since I wasn't having any dating success anyway, and because Match.com is a free dating site for an introductory period, I had nothing to lose.

I'll admit that Match.com wasn't an immediate success, and I ended up using it beyond it's free dating site trial period. But I could tell right from the start that this dating site was good. It came up with lots of matches in my area (Los Angeles), and several of the matches were good dating prospects.

Within the first 2 weeks, I had exchanged e-mail with several possible matches, and even had a phone call with one of them. Yes, it took 3 weeks until I had my first date of the dating site, but it was worth the wait(and the small fee) - I met Glenn and we dated for almost 2 years.
